Scholarship Program
by SCCF & MC Wong
About the Program
The Sacramento Chinese Culture Foundation (SCCF) was founded in 1986 to promote and encourage the learning of the Chinese language and culture.
How It Works
Students participate in the SCCF Chinese Competition through their schools or individual registration. Participants prepare materials based on the selected competition category and submit or perform their entries during the annual competition event.
Competition categories may include Chinese writing, composition, character recognition, poetry recitation, drawing & painting, and school poster presentation.
Impact & Outcomes
Over the years, SCCF scholarship programs have supported students, schools, and community educational initiatives throughout the Greater Sacramento Area.
Each year, participating schools and students engage in Chinese language, arts, writing, and cultural programs that encourage creativity, confidence, and community participation.
Through scholarships, competitions, and educational partnerships, SCCF continues to support Chinese cultural learning while helping students build leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
Looking Ahead
SCCF continues to work collaboratively with participating schools to further improve teaching quality, promote school activities, and organize essay competitions to encourage students to actively practice the Chinese language.
We strongly believe that by working together, we can go farther and achieve more.
