The President's Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) is the premier volunteer award program, encouraging citizens to live a life of service through presidential gratitude and national recognition. The PVSA recognizes United States citizens and lawfully admitted, permanent residents of the United States who have achieved the required number of hours of service over a 12-month time period or cumulative hours over the course of a lifetime.

The Sacramento Chinese Culture Foundation (SCCF) is a proud Certified Organization of the PVSA program. We encourage everyone to volunteer through any of SCCF sponsored or collaborated events and activities, such as performing arts and music for community or elders at Nursing and Seniors Homes or participating at our annual Health Fairs, etc. All of these volunteer works meet qualifying criteria for PVS awards.
